Choosing a highchair can be overwhelming, especially if you’re a first-time mum.

Here are the three things to look for when choosing a highchair:

1. Easy to clean. Smooth surfaces, a removable tray, and no crevices where food can hide.

Did you know we also sell drug-free pain relief at Moosebaby?

VibraCool is an American brand we distribute here in New Zealand and Australia. It uses cryovibration therapy (vibration and ice combined) for drug-free pain relief.

It works on the same science as a TENS machine, but our bodies are wired to respond to motion more than electricity. So in some cases it can work even better.

Before you buy a highchair, look for one that actually grows with your baby.

Frankie starts as a highchair. Use it with the tray for independent meals, or take the tray off so they can pull up to the family table with everyone else.

When you’re out, the seat clips off and becomes a portable booster. It works on any chair. Restaurants, nana’s place, wherever you end up.

When they hit that stage where they refuse to be strapped in, it converts to a toddler stool. They still get a proper seat at the table.
