Due to work commitments I'm having to set out today - the 20th - so fueling the tank now then I'm off. Looks like the weather gods are behaving so once its light enough to see it'll be PEDALS AWAY!!!!

Just 12 days to go and the enormity of my Solstice 100km ride is sinking in - after a big climb this will be approximately halfway - then down the track in the foreground and into the Wairau Valley. Reckon I'll be wearing a head torch long before I get done!

If I was a townie I'd go to a gym and do some cross-fit on a Sunday morning.
I'm a bush pig so this is my cross training for the morning - this is my gym and these are my gym buddies.
BIG workout for all of us!

soppy kisses
and unnecessary hugs
