Saturday 21st March 2026
Daryl Ainsley Memorial Meeting at Powderworx Central Motor Speedway, Cromwell

Race 1
Starting off Grid 2, MV led the race from start to finish. 🏁

Race 2
MV started off Grid 4 behind 492C Campbell Mcmanaway. He took the lead after two laps and led the race to the end. 🏁

Race 3
MV was off the back for the final race and managed to finish in 4th spot which was enough to win the Daryl Ainsley Memorial. Unfortunately the referees had other ideas and deemed that 25T had rubbed wheels with Campbell in the slippery conditions and dished out a two place relegation putting MV in 2nd overall. Congrats to Phil Burgess (25T) on 1st and Graham Williamson on 3rd place.

Thanks to Paul, Brad & Ronnie for crewing. Also to Elmo & Miriam, Jareb & Keeley for their support.

As always huge thanks to our awesome sponsors:

Saturday 14th March 2026
Otago Saloon Champs at Custom Signs Beachlands Speedway

Race 1
Starting off Grid 8, MV moved through the field to 2nd spot behind the 51i car of Mark Dobson. Ryan Marsden (54C) rode our left rear wheel and got tangled up in our rear bumper. It took 10 minutes to pull the cars apart. After we got going again 25T finished in 2nd place behind Mark Dobson (51I).

Race 2
MV started off Grid 3 and made his way to the front, comfortably in the lead, with Ryan Marsden on his tail. With one lap to go Ryan tried a desperate move up the inside, ripping our left-hand panels off and puncturing our left rear tyre. Ryan DNF’d with a flat right rear tyre and MV took the win 🏁 with a flat tyre and carrying some 54C blue panels wedged into the side of 25T.

Race 3
MV was off Grid 7. The setup was good and the car was fast. Two laps in MV passed Ryan Marsden on the inside coming out of turn 2 on the back straight and the 25T machine was hit in the right rear, turning the car sideways and rolled down the back straight and up into the catch fence before dropping onto the track. Game Over! MV was not injured and walked away from the crash. The car was a f mess!

Thanks to Brad and Paul for crewing and for getting the car into the trailer while Mike was getting checked out in the ambo.

Thanks also to everyone who checked in after the crash.

A special thanks from Mrs 25T to Rach Andrews for, well… just being amazing! πŸ₯°

We have had a VERY busy week and, believe it or not, the car is repaired and ready to race on Saturday in Cromwell.

Huge thanks to Jareb Verdoner, Brad & Larissa Gray, Paul Goatley, Michael Bonney and Terry & Cruz Soper for a massive effort this week! You guys are f awesome!!

Saturday 28th February 2026

MV Motorsport 25T Racing headed to Custom Signs Beachlands Speedway
for the Steve Bennett Memorial Meeting as well as the Saloon Top Gun.

Heat 1
MV started off Grid 6. Had a good battle with Mark Newall (96D) and came away with 3rd place.

Heat 2
MV started off Grid 7 and managed to finish in 2nd place which put him on top points for the Top Gun.

Top Gun
MV lost the Top Gun battle to Blayr Findlay (98D).

Bennett Memorial Feature
The feature race was run in reverse grid which means the slowest cars are off the front, putting the 25T machine off the back.
MV was working his way through the field until about lap 10 when there was a caution. Blayr Findlay (98D) and Jason Gold (88T) came together at turn 1 after the restart, with Jason coming off second best and ending up on his roof.
With 12 laps to run, MV took the lead after Blayr Findlay was put to the infield for moving on a red light (??). MV lead the race to the end, winning the feature 🏁
Congrats to Leo Bennett in 2nd and Ryan Bennett in 3rd.

The Bennett Triples was also being run - a saloon, a production saloon and a youth saloon were teamed up to combine points.
MV was teamed with Isiah Stretton and Max Kemp and they came away with the win.

Thanks to Mirjam & Elmo, Warner & Adele, Debbie & Darryn, Daytona, Dylan & Keeley, Vanessa & Casey, Cribby, Sarah, Madison, Charlie
& Kade and Bentley for their support.

Huge thanks, as always, to our awesome sponsors:

This is where we will be doing skids tomorrow!

This is where we will be doing skids tomorrow!

This weekend we race for more than just points !

The Bennett Memorial Triples brings together Youth, Production and Saloon classes to honour Beachlands legend Stephen β€œBenny” Bennett! A man whose love for speedway started in the early 80s and still lives on through generations of the Bennett family today. From the early days to his comeback in the 2017–18 season in the 66D Saloon, Benny’s passion never faded, and neither has the impact he’s had on our club.

Triples teams (Youth + Production + Saloon) will battle it out across multiple races, with points combined to crown the champions. And that’s not all! The Saloons will also be going full throttle for their Saloon Top Gun, while the Street Stocks hit the track chasing Otago Champs glory. It’s shaping up to be a stacked night of racing across the grades!

A huge thank you to the Bennett family and South City Panel Beaters for their continued support of Beachlands Speedway 🀝

Let’s pack the stands and make it a night to remember!
