Last night, three of our boxers stepped into the ring at The Foundry Boxing Club’s “The heat of Battle IV”, and what an incredible event it was. High-level amateur bouts alongside some great corporate matchups made for a quality night of boxing.
We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to showcase the hard work our boxers have been putting in, and to gain valuable experience as we keep moving forward.
A big thank you to our opponents, their coaches, and all the respected gyms involved. We appreciate the rounds shared and the lessons that come with them.
Boxing is a tough sport, a really tough sport.
It’s extreme highs, extreme lows, and everything in between. The countless hours. The sacrifice. Early mornings and late nights. Time away from loved ones. Missed moments. All in the pursuit of something bigger, knowing full well you might come up short.
And that’s the reality of it. That’s the lesson.
To be vulnerable in front of so many.
To test yourself. To chase growth. To risk it all, win, lose, or draw.
Like the quote says about the “man in the arena” only those who step inside the arena truly understand what it takes. Only then can you fully appreciate what it means to be a fighter.
Back in the gym Monday.
Always a student, always learning there’s always improvements to be made. 🅱️🅱️🥊
