𝐂𝐞𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 faced their first defeat in the Kiwi Winter T20 Clash against Himalayan Hurrican at Colin Maiden Park.

After losing the toss under wet conditions, the Riders were put in to bat first. Despite a top-order collapse, skipper Rajitha and Nishal delivered an outstanding counterattack, putting on a blistering 𝟵𝟳-𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟰𝟮 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀.

𝙍𝙖𝙟𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙣 70 𝙤𝙛𝙛 36 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙨, while 𝙉𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 62 𝙤𝙛𝙛 29 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨. Their brilliant effort powered the Riders to a 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟵𝟴.

However, it wasn’t enough on the day, as the Hurricans chased down the target in 18 overs.

𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝘄𝗶 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝟮𝟬 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟭

𝐂𝐞𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 beat Fearless Falcons XI comfortably to record their 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗻 on Day 3.

After winning the toss for the 3rd consecutive time, skipper 𝙽𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚗 𝙺𝚞𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚊 elected to bowl first and restricted Falcons to 130, with brilliant spells from 𝙉𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣, 𝙉𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡 and 𝘼𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙖.

In the chase, 𝙃𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙖 started with a quick knock, and 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙖 guided the Riders to the winning line, scoring his unbeaten and 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐲 of the series.
