While everyone in Japan was celebrating their recent success in the Rugby World Cup, Keisuke had other reasons to celebrate.

Keisuke was left out of RWC squad for Japan. It was a total disappointment for him been excluded for the RWC squad but it didn’t keep him down for long.

Keisuke decided to become a better player by heading to New Zealand, Tasman where he secured a contract with Tasman Makos.

Been in completely different environment, we are sure that Keisuke faced many obstacles and challenges during his stay in NZ.

However, he overcame it with a smile, lifting the trophy with his team mates, after winning the championship with Tasman.

We look forward to seeing him in Top League 2020.

日本中の人々が、日本代表の快挙を祝福する中、内田選手は異国の国でチームメイトと喜びを分かち合っていました。

内田選手は、ラグビーワールドカップ直前に日本代表スコッドから外れてしまいました。選手として憧れの大会に出場できないことは、相当悔しかったと思いますし、フラストレーションも溜まったかと思います。

しかし内田選手は、下を向かず、より良い選手になるためにニュージーランド、タスマンへ渡る決心を固めました。

今までに違った環境の中で、結果を出すということは、想像以上に苦しかったはずですし、色々な困難があったかと思います。

しかし内田選手は、全ての困難を笑顔で跳ね除け、タスマンの優勝に貢献し、チームメイトと一緒に優勝トロフィーを掲げることができました。

この思い出は、一生取れないと思います。

2020年での活躍、期待しています。頑張ってください。

What an absolute try scoring machine this man is.

Congratulations to Vereniki Tikoisolomone for becoming top try scorer for New Zealand Heartland Championship, scoring 13 tries for Wanganui.

Closest try scorer behind Vereniki was penalty tries which was 9 tries.

Vereniki is from Taveuni Fiji before he was scouted to Rugby Academy Fiji.

We can’t wait for Vereniki to achieve new heights next year!

この男は、正しくトライマシーンの名にふさわしい男です。

ヴェレニキ・ティコイソロモネ選手は、ニュージーランドのハートランドチャンピオンシップで、13トライを荒稼ぎし、見事トップトライスコアラーに輝きました。おめでとうございます。

ヴェレニキは、フィジーのタベウニ島という離島出身で、魚を釣ったり、農業をして生活していました。

彼が来年どこまで行くのか、楽しみでなりません!

Well done to Netani Vakayalia for getting invited to train with the Japan 7s Squad.

Netani recently participated in Japan 7s training camp in Yamanashi.

Netani is a speed star who clocked 10.57 Sec in 100m when he was back in Fiji.

We can not see how far this kid will go in the future.

ヴァカヤリア選手、おめでとうございます！

ヴァカヤリア選手は、驚異の脚力の持ち主で、高校時代に100m 10.57秒を記録するなど、スピードスターの異名を持っていました。

彼の伸び代は、計り知れないので、今後が楽しみな選手です。

From the entire country, we thank our National Team for sensational performance in the Rugby World Cup 2019.

Although Japan weren’t able to pull through against SA, you gave hope, courage and passion to our entire nation, even involving the people who knew nothing about rugby.

We can not imagine what each squad member has gone through to prepare for this Rugby World Cup.

It is now our turn to repay Japan Rugby by supporting upcoming Top League 2020! Fill the seats ladies and gents!

ラグビーワールドカップ2019にて、最高のパフォーマンスを私達に見せてくださり、感謝いたします。

日本代表は南アフリカ代表に、準々決勝で敗れてしまいましたが、それ以上に彼らは、私達に情熱や勇気、そして希望を全国民に与えてくれました。

アジアで初めて、準々決勝に進むという快挙は、ラグビーを今まで知らなかった多くの人達を情熱の渦に巻き込み、ラグビーというスポーツが、どれだけ素晴らしいのかを教えてくれました。
