The funny thing is, I donât think Iâd realised how many little things I was âmaking doâ with until I suddenly didnât want to anymore. đ
None of them were terrible.
The Wi-Fi worked... mostly.
The sofa was ripped and too big for the room, but letting it go meant saying goodbye to another little trace Honey had left behind. đ¤
My recipe books had survived 25 years without their beautiful new home. đ
Which is probably why theyâd stayed that way.
But there was something surprisingly energising about looking around our home and thinking, I want this to work better for the life weâre living now.
And I think thatâs what Iâm taking from those rainy holiday days.
Sometimes growth shows up in the big decisions.
And sometimes itâs simply noticing that something youâve accepted as âfineâ doesnât fit you anymore... and feeling genuinely excited to change it.
Iâd love to know what yours is đ¤
