Our primary goal is to give kiwi kids the tools to lead a healthy active lifestyle.

Make a couple of paper planes.
Explain that you need to pull your arm back and then step on the opposite foot as the arm holding the plane as you bring the plane over your shoulders and follow through!

Activity 1: Aim and Shoot
*Create a goal, can be with anything (A basket, couple of cones, posts)
*Put 2 objects in a line in front of the goal (Cones, Empty bottles, containers)
*Kick the ball into the objects in front of the goal, if they succeed to hit the objects the ball should go into the goal.
*Each take turns.

Activity 2: Around the Cones and Shoot
*Keep the same set up as before, with two objects lined up in front of a goal.
*Now the aim is to control the ball with your foot around the objects in an S shape, before shooting into the goal.
*Each take turns

This is a great activity to try on not such a great day!

You will need: A couple of balls; a marker for where you need to stand, and different size baskets, buckets, boxes etc.

Set up the marker where you are going to stand, then space out the baskets. The baskets closest to where you stand scores the least points and the basket furthermost will score the most.

Each take turns trying to get the ball in the baskets.

If you want to create more of a challenge, you can create a rule where you have to bounce the ball before it lands in the basket!
