Greetings everyone 🙋‍♂️

On behalf of Otahuhu Railway Bowling Club, we are running a Bonus Fundraiser to help support two of our own, Linda Petro and Doreen Jensen, as they travel to Hastings to compete in the Bowls New Zealand Aotearoa National Champion of Champion Pairs from 14–16 August 2026.
This is a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for our Club, with Linda and Doreen representing ORBC on the national stage.
We would greatly appreciate your support by purchasing a number or two in our fundraiser. Every contribution will help with travel and tournament expenses and will go a long way in supporting our champions.

The tension was high from start to finish, with both teams exchanging brilliant shots throughout the game. In the end, experience prevailed.

A great semi-final match today between Doreen Jensen & Linda Petro of ORBC and Henrietta Scott & Rebecca Brosman of Royal Oak.
Both teams displayed awesome bowls and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the match, making it a fantastic game to watch.
Congratulations to Dor & Linda, who edged out Henrietta & Rebecca 19–15 to secure their place in the finals.
All the best to Dor & Linda as they head into the finals against Maroi Pereiti & Jo Cheng from Auckland. 👏🏽🏆
