Central Otago Champs 🏁 🥇

What a day at Central Motor Speedway!

Heat 1: P2 from Grid 4 — an awesome result for Carter’s first ever laps around the track.

Heat 2: P1 from Grid 2 — we made a few changes and the 67c was hooked up.

Feature: P1 from Grid 2 — a few more changes and the car was absolutely on rails.

A huge thank you to Harris Race Cars for all the help over the off-season and again this week. Your support and advice has made a massive difference.

To head into the unknown at a track we’d never raced before and come away with results like that is pretty special.

Race day at Central Motor Speedway! 🏁

We’ve made the trip down to Cromwell for their Open Meeting — our first time racing here!

A field of 12 Quarter Midgets today, with four of us making the trip down from Christchurch.

After a few changes this morning, the 67c is ready to go. Looking forward to getting out there and seeing how we get on! 🧡🏁

Putting in some work off the track too! 💪🏁

Carter has started doing some PT sessions with Vicky at Vix PT Studio , working on strength, fitness and a few things that will help him in the car as the season gets underway.

A different kind of training from turning laps, but just as valuable.

Pretty happy with how things went yesterday. Three good runs, some consistent laps and it’s really just about seat time, getting comfortable again and continuing to work on lines.

Really happy with how today went for our first practice of the 2026/27 season.

Three sessions completed, everything ran well and it was great to get some laps in on the new Ruapuna track.

2026/27 — stealth mode 🏁

Green Sheeting all signed off today, so we can finally show off the 67c for the new season.

This year we’ve gone with a cleaner black ace look, with the neon orange chassis and all of our sponsors standing out nicely.

A massive thank you to everyone backing Carter again for the 2026/27 season. We’re incredibly lucky to have so many returning supporters, along with some new names joining us this year.
