✨ Brand New Absolute Beginners Line Dance Class

This class is designed for people who have never danced a step in their lives. We'll start right at the beginning, teaching you the basic fundamentals of line dancing in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment.

Don’t expect to get everything perfect the first time — or even the second! Every time you walk through a routine, you improve a little more. 🌟
Sometimes you may feel overwhelmed and think, “I’ll never get this!” 😩
Keep going! 💪 Suddenly, everything will just click into place. ✨
And remember, don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone learns at their own pace. Some pick things up quickly, while others need more time — and that’s okay! ❤️
Just keep showing up, keep trying and keep dancing! 🎶

Well, what a night! I hope you all slept well after all that dancing!

Thank you to everyone who came along—you were all amazing! I hope you had a great time, you all helped to make it a good evening. It was wonderful to see so many people embracing the easy dances and simply having fun. There is nothing quite like looking out at a packed dance floor full of smiling faces, hearing the laughter and excitement, and seeing everyone enjoying themselves together.

It was also great to see so many partners coming along to support their dancers. A huge thank you to all our visitors, especially those who made the journey from a far. Your support means so much and is a wonderful reminder of how dance brings people together and creates lasting friendships.

Today is a great time to think about what you’ll need to make yourself comfortable for the evening and gather a few things together.

REMINDER No Drink bottles to be brought into the Kaiapoi Club

THEME is Black & White

There will be dance lists posted around the room, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer. You might like to mark the dances you intend to do and make a note of how each of those dances start
Please remember to bring your name badge if you have one — it really helps everyone put names to faces.

It’s going to be warm! I’ve requested aircon to keep the dancers cool, if you have a non dancer with you make sure they are going to be be warm enough.
A few things you might like to bring:
• A towel or cooling towel
• A fan of any kind to help move the air and keep cool Something to freshen up with for those partner dances
• Comfortable shoes for heading home — your feet will thank you after a big night of dancing!

Remember, the night is what you make it, so bring your smiling faces and let’s enjoy this fantastic evening together! 💃✨
