Sweden have left Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson out of their World Cup squad.
The 21-year-old central midfielder, who has 12 international caps, holds a market value of 32 million euros. His value decreased from 40 million euros in March after a difficult period. Larsson is the most valuable Swedish player excluded from the squad, with the exception of Dejan Kulusevski, who has been out injured for over a year.
At club level, Larsson has featured 34 times across all competitions this season, contributing 2 goals and 3 assists. He has not played for the national team since the second game of the World Cup qualification campaign last September, when he was taken off at half time in a 2-0 defeat to Kosovo.
Larsson could be one to watch in the upcoming transfer window.
