41,42 ओभरको खेल चलिरहँदा दर्शक द्वारा ग्राउन्डमा पानीको बोत्तल तथा कोही फटाहाहरुले बोटल मै पिसाब गरेर सोही बोतलले प्रहार गर्न थाल्छन् तर धान्न ती बोतल ग्राउन्डसम्म पुगेनन्,कतिजनालाई त पुलिसहरुले समाते पनि।।आखिर भेडापन्ती गर्न हामी कहिले छोड्ने??यति सम्मको हर्कत जुन बेला नेपाल DLS मा पछाडि थियो ! !
ग्यानु दाजु हात जोड्दै दर्शक सामुन्ने उभिई सम्झाई बुझाइ गर्छन् "हामी जित्छौ हजुरहरू निरास नहुनुस्" भन्दै!!!

२४ खेल खेलेर ८ वटा जित, १ बराबरी तथा १ खेल बर्षाले अवरुद्ध हुँदा नेपाल अंक तालिकामा १८ अंक सहित छैटौँ स्थानमा थियो। त्यो बेला विश्वकप क्वालिफायर त परको कुरा नेपाल अंक तालिकामा एक स्थान सुधार गरेर एकदिवसीय अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मान्यता पनि नजोगाउला झैँ दयनीय अवस्थामा थियो। क्यान भित्र विवाद, खेलाडी बीच बेमेल, निरन्तर कोच परिवर्तन, सन्दिपको मुद्दा जस्ता समस्याबाट जेलिएको नेपालले १२ खेलमा ५ वटा जित निकाल्न पनि मुस्किल देखिन्थो। तर, मोन्टी देसाई कोच अनि रोहित पौडेल कप्तान भएपछि नेपालले अविश्वसनीय, चमत्कारिक अनि अभूतपूर्व खेल खेलेर विश्वकप क्वालिफायरमा स्थान बनायो। (सपना त होइन झैँ भएको छ ।) २४ खेल खेलीसकेको नेपाललाई अन्तिम १२ मध्ये ९ खेल जित्न सक्दा एकदिवसीय अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मान्यता रहने तथा सबै १२ खेल जित्न सके विश्वकप क्वालिफायरमा प्रवेश पाउने अवस्था थियो। यो अत्यन्त कठिन र लगभग असम्भव थियो। तर, समय आएपछि सबै कुरा अनुकूल बन्दो रहेछ। खेलाडीहरूमा दिव्य शक्ति प्रवेश भएपछि असम्भव पनि सम्भव भइदियो। अदालतले सन्दिपलाई खेल खेल्न दिनु, खेलाडी बीच एकता, नामिविया युएई संग एक खेलमा हार्नु, नेपाललाई पनि एक खेल हार्दा असर नपर्ने समिकरण बन्नुले नेपालले लयलाई समात्यो। मार्च १६, जब नेपालका लागि फाइनल खेल सरह बन्यो युएई संगको खेल। लिगको पछिल्ला सिरिजमा जबरजस्त प्रदर्शन गरेको नेपाल रोकिने मुडमा थिएन। तर, युएई नेपालको महत्वपूर्ण खेलमा जहिले पनि बाधक बन्दै आएको इतिहासले धेरैको मनमा डर थियो। यो डरलाई अझ मल जल गरिदियो आसिफ खानको ब्याटिङले । आसिफको विस्फोटक ब्याटिङको बलमा नेपाललाई ३ सय ११ रनको चुनौती दियो युएईले । सुरूवातमा नै दुई विकेट गुमाएको नेपाल विस्तारै विस्तारै लक्ष्य तर्फ अघि बढिरह्यो। अन्तत खेलको नतिजा नेपालको पक्षमा आयो । विभिन्न आरोह अवरोह बीचको यो तीन बर्षमा विश्वकप लिग २ को सुखद् अन्त्य नेपालले गरेको छ । अविश्वसनीय नतिजा निकाल्दै विश्वलाई चकित पार्ने खेलाडी, प्रशिक्षक तथा सम्पूर्ण सरोकारहरूप्रति हार्दिक बधाई। अझ धेरै प्रगतिको शुभकामना ।
