Premier International, Little Angels, and Bright Future College Triumph at the First HISSAN-Lalitpur Basketball Tournament
Lalitpur, Nepal – March 1, 2025 – The First HISSAN-Lalitpur Basketball Tournament concluded with intense final matches at the Army Covered Hall, Lagankhel. Youth and Sports Minister Teju Lal Choudhury presented the championship trophies to the winning teams, recognizing their hard work, determination, and excellence on the court.

In the +2 boys' category, Premier International IB Continuum School delivered an outstanding performance to defeat Little Angels' School and claim the title. The +2 girls' final saw Little Angels' School secure victory against Bluebird School in a closely contested match. In the bachelor boys' division, Bright Future College emerged as champions after a thrilling battle with Nagarjuna College.

The first runners-up were Little Angels' School (+2 boys), Bluebird School (+2 girls), and Nagarjuna College (bachelor boys). The second runners-up included Omega College (+2 boys), St. Mary’s Secondary School (+2 girls), and AIMS International College (bachelor boys), all of whom put up commendable performances throughout the tournament.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including NeBA Chairman Bhimsingh Gurung, HISSAN Central Committee General Secretary Lok Bd Bhandari, HISSAN Central Committee Secretary Rishi Tiwari, HISSAN Central Committee Joint Treasurer Narendra, and HISSAN Kathmandu Chairman Jessica Chemjung. Their presence highlighted the growing importance of school and college basketball in Nepal.

The tournament showcased incredible talent, sportsmanship, and teamwork, leaving a lasting impact on Nepal’s basketball scene. First HISSAN-Lalitpur Basketball Championship: Quarterfinals Thrill Fans at Army Covered Hall

Lalitpur, Nepal – February 28, 2025 – The First HISSAN-Lalitpur Basketball Championship reached a fever pitch as the quarterfinals unfolded at the Army Covered Hall in Lagankhel. With a spot in the finals at stake, teams delivered intense performances, pushing their limits in front of an energetic crowd.

In the +2 boys' category, Little Angels School and Premier International IB Continuum School emerged victorious after hard-fought battles, securing their place in the highly anticipated final.
