​नेपाली महिला फुटबल टोलीका लागि एउटा यस्तो तीतो र बिझाउने इतिहास छ, जसलाई हरेक फुटबल समर्थकले चाँडोभन्दा चाँडो बदलिएको हेर्न चाहन्छन्। दक्षिण एसियाली फुटबलको महाकुम्भ 'साफ महिला च्याम्पियनसिप' (SAFF Women's Championship) को विगतका ७ वटा संस्करणमध्ये नेपाल ६ पटक फाइनलमा पुगेको छ, तर दुर्भाग्यवश ६ वटै पटक उपविजेता (Runner-up) मा चित्त बुझाउनु परेको छ।
​भारतको गोवामा जारी साफ महिला च्याम्पियनसिप २०२६ मा कप्तान एन्जिला तुम्बापो सुब्बाको नेतृत्वमा मैदान उत्रिएको नेपाली टोलीसामु यसपटक यो 'फाइनलको श्राप' (Finals Curse) तोड्दै इतिहास रच्ने सबैभन्दा ठूलो चुनौती र अवसर दुवै छ।
​६ वटा फाइनलको त्यो बिझाउने इतिहास:

​नेपाल साफ इतिहासकै सबैभन्दा अभागी टोली साबित हुँदै आएको छ। सुरुवाती ४ वटा संस्करणमा नेपाललाई फाइनलमा भारतले बाटो छेकेको थियो भने पछिल्ला दुई संस्करण (२०२२ र २०२४) मा काठमाडौँकै घरेलु मैदानमा बङ्गलादेशले नेपालको च्याम्पियन बन्ने सपनालाई कडा धक्का दिएको थियो।
