Wednesday, Bhadra 10, 2083 B.S., at around 8:40 a.m., a devastating flood occurred in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa, causing significant loss of life and property. Due to the flood, the riverside areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and other districts have been severely affected.
Immediately after the flood, the government intensified rescue, search, and relief operations in the affected areas. The process of collecting details regarding the human and physical damage caused by the flood is currently underway.
While it is necessary to immediately relocate and provide safe shelter to those affected by this disaster, it is equally important to rehabilitate and resettle them in the long term.
Therefore, we sincerely appeal to everyone to provide financial assistance to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund and the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, both maintained under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
We kindly request everyone to contribute whatever amount they can to the bank accounts mentioned below.
