Zum Jahresende bereichern wir euch auch diesen Dezember mit Kubbnews, um euch die Wartezeit bis zur Ice-Rink-Kubb-Challenge zu versüßen. 🙌Jeden Tag stellen wir ein anderes Team vor: Wie ist die vergangene Saison gelaufen? Was waren die größten Erfolge? Was steht fürs nächste Jahr an?

We say Malibu, you say United. 🙌 Who doesn’t want to catch a goodie from the Malibu-drinking boys as a souvenir? 🤩 They're always staying worthy of their name – not only keeping Malibu in their mind but also in their stomach. 🍼 These hot boys are part of the world championship like Bibbi or the delicious kørv snack between two matches. 🔥

📝What's the origin of your team name?
One summer ages ago OG team member Anton Brenner served the ice cold drink Malibu / Pinapple juice. It was so obvious: we united the greatest cats around and made it happen.

🌟 What was your best moment of the past season?
The human pyramid building with KP Wildogs and Twelve Titts United after dark.

🚀 What have you planned for 2020?
We missed some of our greatest names last year in the WC so the first thing will be to bring them back. We are also discussing the EKC in Wismar and once again ready to claim another medal in the WC. It would also be interesting visiting the legendary Pascal Meury and his The inglourious Whiskyboys at their throphy set up but we will see if they finally get us a private jet down to the swiss alps.

WC was once again a weekend with alot of good friends coming together for a weekend of kubb and Malibu drinking in Rone.

Performance wise we could have done alot better, finished second in the group after an 2 1/2 hour game against Rekubblikanerna who in the end made it all the way to 1/8 finals on Saturday.

We had utslagskubb upon us for a spot on Saturday but were beaten with one basekubb so we went on to " lilla " .

We had some bad luck with the draw when we met Fide Fu***rs in the first game, they had us in the 1 set and it was over way to fast when we were hungry for more but a Saturday in Rone isn't the worst place to be after all ❤ .

The Sons Of Malibu who wasn't with us this year were surely missed but we have to thank Fredrik Andersson & Eivind Straume for jumping in this year and made us whole.

We can't thank you all enough for once again the best weekend of the year and see you all again 2020 🙏

Merry Xmas and an Happy New year from all of us in Malibu United 💛

Once again an amazing WC with a lot of old and new friends.

After winning utslagskubb on Friday we were on to Saturday were Whiskyboys/Twelvetittsunited and Team Burgsvik waited for us.

We won against Team Burgsvik and had one set against Whiskyboys so it was Lilla VM for us.

There we meet Utterly Wiped Out and did loose but it felt like we had a chance and that was nice!

Sons Of Malibu thanks you all for a fantastic 2018 and see you all next year!

1 week until the WC in Rone and we can’t wait to bring another gold medal home!

We are surely gonna miss Jimmy The Hoffa Buckstadt and Joel Sjölin this year but Lasse Gunshow Sundell and Mange Andersson will see too that same standards are applied!
