Mustapha Bokpin 🇬🇭 finished 2nd with 9.97s (+0.7 m/s) behind Kanyinsola Ajayi 🇳🇬 in the men’s 100m quarterfinals at the 2026 NCAA East Championships to advance to the semis. Mustapha’s consistency is commendable and presently he is the best athlete in 🇬🇭.

History made! 🇬🇭 Isaac Botsio has won his third consecutive 100m dash title with 10.07s (+0.8 m/s) at the NCAA DII Track & Field Championships held at Francis G. Welch Stadium | Emporia, KS 23/06/2026.

Botsio also holds the facility record with a stunning 9.98s from 2024, joining Benjamin Azamati as the only Ghanaians to hold an NCAA II record. Give him his flowers! 🌹 Following an incredible legacy.

Here are three world-standard, young tactical minds in Ghanaian Athletics today. Given the right opportunity and backing, I truly believe they won't just bring glory, they will bring medals back to the nation. 🏆🥇

Coach Elorm (pic 3) – formerly of the University of Ghana and West Texas A&M University (USA); Founder of the Legon Creative Athletics Club; and the coach for the 2024 Ghana Men's 4x100m relay team that qualified for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
Coach Obour Gh (pic 1) – currently with Middle Tennessee State University (USA); formerly with the University for Development Studies, Tamale; and the coach for the 23rd African Athletics Championships hosted by Cameroon in 2024.
Coach Ernest 'Skuby' Ofei-Brako (pic 2) – Founder and head coach of Axion X Athletics Ghana (formerly Tachyon Athletik Club); also the national Paralympic coach; and a staff member of the National Sports Authority (in the Central Region).
