Many yoga students struggle with chaturanga not because they are “bad at yoga”, but because their triceps are not strong enough yet. The triceps help control the lowering movement, keep the elbows close to the body and protect the shoulders from collapsing.

Strong shoulders are just as important. They help stabilize the upper body, improve posture and protect the shoulder joints from overload and injuries during yoga practice.

Strong triceps and shoulders = more control, better alignment and safer transitions in your yoga practice 💪✨
