Did a little more fishing this morning in Norway. Staying in a quaint little fishing village called Nesland. I posted a pic below of the history for any interested. Caught my biggest pollack to date this morning in high tides! Realized too the black and silver fish I've been catching are coal fish and the brown are the pollack. Reference pic below too.

Another day of shore fishing in Norway. Missed two this morning. Something bigger ripping drag broke me off in the rocks. However, this afternoon I caught several more pollack and a decent mackerel!

Picked up a fishing pole and some lures here in Norway yesterday at a grocery store. Spoon type lures for bank fishing in the fjords. Spent a little time fishing last night and caught several small ones. Not sure the type of fish but maybe a pollack? Regardless, had a blast and look forward to seeing what else I can catch in the week ahead.

On vacation in Northern Norway it was a great day because I got to Get Out Fishing! Booked a charter with Lofoten Experiences and went out for a three hour trip from 10am-1pm. Several in the group hooked up within minutes of stopping at the first spot. Shortly after I caught two really nice Atlantic cod and some coal fish. Caught about eight today but only four were of good size. Fish were cleaned on the boat and sushi (yes, raw cod with soy sauce) was served. When in Norway right? It was delicious. They put some of the fish in the fish soup and served that on the way back. Incredible experience. Trip of a lifetime.
