When we practice yoga in winter, the body often doesn’t want to move. It feels heavy and stiff, and we may find many excuses. That’s why it’s important to take time to warm up the body gently and fully.
Once we begin, the body slowly opens, and movement becomes easier. I also experienced this after a long break, winter made it feel more difficult, and I became less active, which led to weight gain and stiffness.
But with consistent practice, even a little each day, the body becomes stronger, more flexible, and the mind more peaceful. Yoga reminds us to stay connected, no matter the season. 🧘♀️
