I love a good and fun Challenge.
ras asked me whether I believed breathing could have an effect on his golf game.

My answer: yes of course!

So now we have an interesting challenge. Improving his breathing is expressed in his Spacetime (BOLT score) and getting better at Golf results in a lower handicap.

We set the goals:
- Spacetime 42
- Handicap of 15

The game is on 🙂

🙂 ADEM ALSOF JE LEVEN ERVAN-AF-HANGT 🙂

* De ademhaling is direct verbonden met je gezondheid en is daarmee van invloed op alle terreinen van je leven.

* Ben jij benieuwd wat een kleine verandering in je ademhaling kan betekenen om je Gewoon Goed te voelen?

* Hoe zou het zijn als je een aantal ademhalingsoefeningen kent en oefent die je helpen om precies dit te bereiken?

* Wil je meer weten en leren dan kun je tweewekelijks op woensdag van 13.55 tot 15.15 uur een ZOOM-sessie Breathe Consciously volgen.

* Je leert oefeningen die gebaseerd zijn op de wetenschappelijke Oxygen Advantage Methode waarvan ik Advanced Instructor ben.

* De sessies bestaan iedere keer uit het delen van kennis en het toepassen daarvan in oefeningen die je vervolgens dagelijks kunt doen. Je leert ook veel door de uitwisseling van ervaringen met andere deelnemers en je zult merken dat dit je motiveert om het zelf ook na de sessie daadwerkelijk te doen.

* Je kunt gewoon iedere woensdag deelnemen wanneer jij dat wil. De waardering voor mijn beloning bedraagt 10 euro per sessie. Meld je aan via een persoonlijk bericht.

* De eerste sessie vindt plaats op 26 mei en daarna om de 2 weken.

We are “Creatures of Habit”.

Changing a habit often is difficult and sometimes it is way smarter to just use the habit and complement it with an action that supports your desire.

For example:
In coaching people with their breathing I use a test to determine their personal SpaceTime.

I have had people who got addicted to measuring their SpaceTime very often during the day. One of them thought this was bad addictive behavior.

But what if.....

I suggested her to not test herself 9 times a day but at least a hundred times 🙂

I also asked to her to stop for a moment to consciously do this test. Breathe Consciously and do a Breath Exercise.

Imagine what the potential is of breathing consciously 100 times a day and doing her exercises...

A business meeting Walter — FWD style.

I have been creating a manual on breathing based on the Oxygen Advantage Method. This is becoming a bit more then just a manual on breathing 🙂

The manual is called “Breathe Consciously” and the people I coach use it. Besides knowledge on breathing and exercises I also share a bit on my life in it.

It may inspire or help people to create Lasting Positive Change in their lives / work.

For now there is a version that needs to be checked on spelling and editing. My “old friend” Walter happens to be a translator and editor so this was a very good reason to look him up.

He most likely will also translate my English version into Dutch. How funny is that 🙂

Just breathe calmly through your nose, relax and get in a centered State of Being.

Next step: turn your “internal engine” on by doing a little jog still breathing through your nose.

Go into the water and stay calm, focus on your exhalation. Don’t block your breathing. Just stay calm and enjoy.

Out of the water: do another little jog and be completely surprised about how GOOD you feel.

You don’t feel cold at all 🙂
