We are beyond excited for this special event in October this year 😍🤗✨

Expect lots of details to explore different textures in your dance and to improve the quality and comfort of your movements. The weekender combines technique with sensation, learning how to make your zouk feel playful, comfortable and alive: from the smallest, most intimate detail to larger, more free expression.

🌀 Program

DAY 1 — Technique, Flow & Texture
Discover how you can carry flow through space, and what this means for your technique. How do you transition between movements and modes, and how do texture and musicality transform your dance?

DAY 2 — Playful Complexity
Learn how you can bring more complex techniques to the social dance floor and make them playful, effortless and yummy. We’ll explore how different layers and dynamics shape the sensation for both leader and follower.

Saturday: 11am - 3pm workshops + 3pm - 5:30pm social with DJ .zouk & 💫

Sunday: 1pm - 6pm workshops

❗️ Level requirements
Everyone with a foundation in Brazilian Zouk is welcome. For Utrecht Zouk students: after completing the Essentials course you are ready to join! All levels of Brazilian Zouk dancers will highly benefit from this weekender.

‼️ Spots for the weekender are limited to 25 leaders & 25 followers, for the social we have extra 30 extra tickets available (15 for leaders & 15 for followers) ✨

Look who’s coming to the Netherlands? William Wegert, for the first time in… well, a very long time! 🤩

We are beyond excited for this weekend! Expect lots of details to improve your dance, presence, yumminess, and flow. His superpower is making you slow down, balancing intricate detail and “keeping it simple.”

And of course… because it’s William, also expect some goofiness 🫠😂

He will join forces with Xanne, bringing softness and playfulness!

⭐️ Level: if you’ve completed the UZ Essentials or know your 10 BZ fundamentals, you’re good to join!
⭐️ Social-only tickets for the Saturday afternoon social will also be available.
⭐️ The tickets will be released soon, keep an eye out!

We’re closing off the spring season the way we love best: together on the dance floor!

We bring you a beginner friendly, open level workshop with Xanne & Cynthia at 13:00, then our beloved Rookie Rhythm Hour for fresh faces and experienced dancers alike, and three hours of social dancing with DJ WinX & DJ Denise to finish it off 🕺💃

Optional dinner together after 18:00 because why stop dancing when you can keep connecting? 🍽️
