This is the story I don’t tell often. ✦

I don’t build pads for the catalog.
I build them because I had to.

For ten years I tattooed. I was good at it. People flew in from across the world for work they’d carry forever.

Then my father was gone. No warning.

It rewires what you think you have time for.

I walked away from €1250 a day. Not because the work wasn’t good. Because it wasn’t mine anymore.

What’s mine is this. Horses. Design. The thing under the saddle that makes the difference Bruce taught me to feel.

One maker. Six months of samples. Getting it right or not doing it at all.

I want you to forget the gear. And remember you and your horse were built for this.

Your horse isn’t a means to a ribbon. He’s the one you came home to on the worst day.
