Traded the forest in for a classroom last Saturday. šŸŒæāž”ļøšŸ“š

The past two months I’ve had the honor of assisting at the .brume_the.icci in The Hague for the Phase 2 – Coaching Practitioner program. Having followed this coaching education myself, it feels meaningful to now support and observe students as they develop their coaching skills and confidence.

Stepping into the role of helping other coaches grow is inspiring, enriching… and it gives me energy. ✨

What roles do you have that give you energy or are you still exploring the possibilities?

ļæ½I stopped working.
Closed my laptop, put on my sneakers, and walked out the door.
I took a longer lunch.ļæ½Felt the sun on my face. Smelled the spring blooms and listened to the birds chirping around me. ļæ½Literally gave myself space to think.
Funny thing is—when I take a step back,ļæ½I actually move forward.
I come back calmer.ļæ½Clearer.ļæ½Kinder.ļæ½Have more energy and I’m more productive.

When you feel overwhelemd do you push through or take a step back?
ļæ½DM me—let’s walk and talk if you can use some help in taking a step back in order to take some steps forward.

What if your morning didn’t start with stress—but with stillness? A walk in nature is one of the simplest ways to regulate your nervous system, lift your mood, and reconnect with yourself. It supports your body, clears your mind, and creates space before the day begins.
Just 20 minutes. No pressure, no perfection.
Step outside and see what shifts.

Have you ever put self care on the back burner? Well, I did for a number of weeks and it came back to bite me in the butt.

Being a coach is one of the many hats I wear, alongside being a mom, wife, sister, aunt, friend, and professional. And even though I’m a coach, I’m also a human and not immune to making mistakes. Last month I temporarily lost sight of how important it is to maintain my own mental and pyhsical health.

The agenda was full and things ā€œneededā€ to get done, so taking it easy and making time for myself kept getting put off. For weeks, I stopped exercising, doing things I wanted to do and put off making my own doctor’s appointments. Every day was packed to the max with ā€œTo Dosā€! (is this ringing a bell with anyone?)

The result? My blood pressure skyrocketed, I was overly emotional and I started losing feeling in part of my face. Because I wasn’t making self care and a priority.

After some long conversations, I realized it was time to re-prioritize. To go back to the drawing board and look at what truly matters to me. The balance I had worked hard to achieve felt far away, and it was up to me to get it back. I don’t want self-neglect to become my norm again - been there before and promised myself I wouldn’t go down that road again.

So I left the laundry and went for a walk. Made space and time for myself. Called the dr. Had honest conversations with myself about self care and self love.

I doubted whether to share this, but decided to do it. Not for sympathy — but because maybe this rings a bell with someone else and serves as a reminder to care for yourself, even when stress is high and life is busy.

Make and keep yourself a priority. You are not replaceable to your family, friends or loved ones. Stop putting it off. Today is the day and you are worth it!

It’s already the second week of the new year and so I thought it’s a good time to check in with some outdoor inspiration.

You’re standing on the top of a mountain, looking out into the valley below. That valley respresents 2026.

As you take it in, what does it represent for you?
What matters most for you this year?
Where do you want your energy, time and attention to be spent?

The path ahead doesn’t need to be perfectly mapped out but your priorities can be clear. By setting your priorties you can decide what your first steps are going to be and how you will follow your own path through 2026.

We explored a similar visualization in my last intervision with the .brume_the.icci and it was an insightful way to gain perspective into looking forward.

The valley ahead is calling! What are you choosing to prioritise as you walk further into 2026?

My first walk of the year was along this piece of paradise with my most challenging coaching client, myself and I enjoyed every minute! Taking in the sun, sand and sea while doing some self reflection and feeling thankful.
I’m not really one for New Year’s resolutions since they don’t tend to stick very long. But prefer to look at the new year as a chance of shedding what doesn’t serve me anymore and re-prioritising. The first few weeks of January will be spent on more self reflection and where I want my energy to go in 2026.
What about you? How are you going into the new year?

Feeling overwhelmed? Go offline and get outside - no music, no distractions. Make the time to disconnect in order to reconnect with yourself. Try it, I’m pretty sure you’ll like it šŸŒ³šŸ’š

Sound great and at the same time not quite sure how to or when to find the time? Message me and we can work on it together!

Hi! I’m Tiffany Fluent, a life coach offering outdoor walking sessions in nature – both in Dutch and English.
For the past few months, I’ve taken a step back from social media, but I haven’t been standing still. Quite the opposite.
✨ I supported a business owner in finding more balance and reconnecting with the heart of her work
✨ I completed a burnout reset & stress management course to deepen my tools and support through
✨ And… my brand new website is going live soon! šŸŽ‰

I’ve also realized I’ve never properly introduced myself here – so consider this the start. If you’re curious about walking coaching, want to explore your next step, or just need space to breathe and reflect, I’d love to walk with you. And if you live abroad, I can still support you through online coaching sessions.

Let’s connect, outdoors 🌳
