Nederlands Kampioenschap IAME – Let’s go! 🏁

Dit weekend staan we aan de start van het Nederlands Kampioenschap IAME in Mariembourg! 🏎️ Met een goede voorbereiding achter de rug zijn we er helemaal klaar voor om te strijden voor de ereplaatsen. 💪🏼

IAME Benelux Round 4, Genk 🇧🇪

Qualifying

Qualifying was tough. I lacked pace and made a mistake on my fastest lap, losing about 0.15 seconds. My speed just wasn't where it needed to be. I finished P18 in my group, which put me at P52 out of 76 drivers overall.

Heat 1
This was a strong drive for me. I started at P18 and gained six positions to finish P12.

Heat 2
I had a bad start and was pushed wide, which cost me a few positions. I fought back and managed to regain them, finishing P16 after starting at P18.📈

Heat 3
Another tough start—I lost a few spots right away. I had to fight hard and really worked the tires, eventually finishing P20after starting at P18.

Heat 4
We decided to take a chance and put on a new tire 🛞to improve my odds of making the A-Final. My start was terrible; I got pushed wide and my rear bumper got caught on a tire. I dropped to last place (P25) after the first lap. But then the new tire came to life, and I gained a ton of places with some great overtakes, finishing at P11.🚀

Heat 5
I had a great start again, gaining a few positions and driving a steady race. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to get me into the A-Final. I started at P19 and finished at P11.💪
After the heats, I was ranked P40 out of 76 drivers.

B-Final
I started at P4 and had a great launch🚀moving up to P3. I made a mistake, lost my grip, and a few drivers got past me. I had some good battles, but I was also given a 5-second penalty for a front cone. I started at P4 and finished P13.

I showed some great pace and progress throughout the weekend and can't wait for the next race at my favorite track in Mariembourg!

🏁 IAME Benelux Genk – Wat een Finale! 🏁

Vrijdag en zaterdag stonden we aan de start van de IAME Benelux in Genk. Helaas zat het hele weekend niet mee: veel pech en een slechte bandenset maakten het lastig om echt te knallen.

Maar… in de finale viel eindelijk alles op zijn plek! 💪 Na een pechweekend, en opnieuw met een mindere set banden, konden we pas aanvallen toen er in de finale 2 nieuwe banden onder kwamen.

En dat heeft Ties laten zien: maar liefst 28 plekken goedgemaakt in de finale! 🔥

Trots op de strijdlust en het doorzettingsvermogen – dit geeft vertrouwen voor de volgende races! 🚀

🏁 Raceweekend – IAME Benelux Round 2! 🏁
It’s time for Round 2 of the this weekend, Ostricourt! After a valuable and intense first race weekend, Ties is ready to push hard again in the X30 Senior class, with another strong grid.

Qualifying takes place on Friday, followed by heats. Finals are on Saturday!

IAME Benelux Round 1 Mariumbourg🇧🇪

We had a good speed for first time in the Benelux senior class with some really good overtakes and nice progress. 📈

QUALIFYING:
I had to overtake one slow driver in my fast lap, so lost 0.15 second! But my speed was good🚀
RESULT:
P11 in group (P44 overall of the 94 drivers!)

HEAT 1
Was a good and drive
P13-> P12

HEAT 2:
I had a bad start, and got pushed wide and lost a couple of places.
P13-> p24 -> P20

HEAT 3:
My start was very good, and had great speed and some nice overtakes.🚀
P13-> P7

HEAT 4:
My start was again very good, and had some really good overtakes.🚀
P14-> P8

HEAT 5:
My start was very good, couldn’t gain any places, but lost one.
P13-> P14

HEAT 6:
My start was very good, but there was a big incident with one driver, and the race was red stopped🛑. I had great speed and some nice overtakes. Wish all the best to the crashed driver.

A- FINAL:
We started at p34 had no good balance in the Kart because of a loose steering column.
RESULT:
P34->P26

We showed some really good pace and progress at my first race IAME Benelux It’s hard driving and battling in the senior classes!🚀and very proud to become in the A-Final

🏁 Seizoensopener – IAME Benelux Round 1! 🏁

Het is zover! Vandaag en morgen staat de eerste race van het seizoen op het programma: Round 1 in Mariembourg. 🔥

Ties rijdt dit jaar in de X30 Senior-klasse, met maar liefst 98 deelnemers! Vandaag begint de strijd met de kwalificatie om 11:25 uur. Op basis daarvan wordt hij ingedeeld in een groep en weten we hoe laat hij zijn races heeft.

🆙️ It's race week! The IAME Series Benelux kicks off this weekend in Mariembourg. Are you ready for it?

NK IAME 2025 🇳🇱

We had amazing speed for our first race in the senior class, with some really good overtakes and nice progress.

1st WARM UP: P6 in group 🚀
2nd WARM UP: P11 with old tires

QUALIFYING:
It was a bit difficult to warm up the tires. I got pushed wide by another driver during my fast lap, which cost me 0.8 seconds.
RESULT: P18 in group (P36 overall out of 49 drivers!)

HEAT 1:
Not the best start, lost a few positions but fought back. I received a +5 second penalty for the front fairing.
RESULT: P18 -> P15 -> P18 (+5 sec)

HEAT 2:
I had a bad start and had to avoid a driver who spun in the first corner. I had good speed and made great overtakes.
RESULT: P18 -> P24 -> P16

HEAT 3:
This was a really good race, but I received a penalty for a corridor infringement, which cost me a spot in the A final.
RESULT: P21 -> P16 (+10 sec) -> P21

RANKINGS AFTER HEATS: P41

B-FINAL:
We started at P5 and had a good start, gaining a few places. Then, someone pushed me wide and pushed another driver off track. We followed, knowing he would get a penalty for that!
RESULT: P5 -> P2

We showed really good pace and progress at my first senior race ever. It’s hard driving and battling in the senior classes! 🚀
