IAME BENELUX 🇧🇪
ROUND 4 Genk ✅
Thursday practice ➡️ speed was good, I was still adjusting a bit to the different chassis but we knew where to find the pace.
Warm up ➡️p11: pace was there still needed some minor adjustments
Quali 😔p21: had a nice position on track but just couldn’t find the pace. I was just sliding around everywhere.

Heat 1, 2 and 3: p21 ➡️ p17
Couldn’t find what was wrong but still no pace.
Saturday warm-up p9
From this point we knew my pace in the heats were caused by bad tyres because, I didn’t adjust my driving and I was just so much quicker.
Heat 4: p21 ➡️ p15
Heat 5: p21 ➡️ p12 3 sec penalty 😩p15
Just did the best I could with the grip I had.

B-final p16 ➡️ p4
We had a new set of tyres for the final so now the pace was there and made some really nice overtakes. Still not happy with this weekend but we have one more round left in Mariembourg so we’ll see there.

IAME BENELUX 🇧🇪

ROUND 3 Genk ✅
The speed and grip from a week before were gone—we just couldn’t find the grip!
Quali P17: Had no grip in the fast corners.
Quali Heat 1: P17 ➡️ Finished P7
Really good start, but our speed wasn’t great so we had to defend a lot.
Quali Heat 2: P17 ➡️ Finished P18
Not a great start, lost a position after a lot of fighting.
After Heat 2 we discovered the problem: we drove for 2 days with a bent chassis (it was bent 5 mm in the middle!). We bent it back!
Quali Heat 3: P17 ➡️ Finished P9
Good start and our speed was a lot better, gained quite a few places. But after a few laps, the chassis started bending back.
Quali Heat 4: P17 ➡️ Finished P12
Start was OK, gained 1 place. Struggled with the tires in the next few laps, but managed to overtake a few drivers.
Quali Heat 5: P17 ➡️ Finished P15
Start wasn’t great so I maintained my position. Struggled a lot with the tires 🛞, but made a few passes.
A-Final: P36 ➡️ Finished P14
We bent the chassis back one last time 🫣 and put on a new set of tires for the Final.
The start was a bit messy, but after a few laps the grip came back. Pace and speed were amazing, and I made a lot of good overtakes. Really happy to gain so many places in the Final!

Nederlands Kampioenschap IAME – Let’s go! 🏁

Dit weekend staan we aan de start van het Nederlands Kampioenschap IAME in Mariembourg! 🏎️ Met een goede voorbereiding achter de rug zijn we er helemaal klaar voor om te strijden voor de ereplaatsen. 💪🏼

IAME Benelux Round 4, Genk 🇧🇪

Qualifying

Qualifying was tough. I lacked pace and made a mistake on my fastest lap, losing about 0.15 seconds. My speed just wasn't where it needed to be. I finished P18 in my group, which put me at P52 out of 76 drivers overall.

Heat 1
This was a strong drive for me. I started at P18 and gained six positions to finish P12.

Heat 2
I had a bad start and was pushed wide, which cost me a few positions. I fought back and managed to regain them, finishing P16 after starting at P18.📈

Heat 3
Another tough start—I lost a few spots right away. I had to fight hard and really worked the tires, eventually finishing P20after starting at P18.

Heat 4
We decided to take a chance and put on a new tire 🛞to improve my odds of making the A-Final. My start was terrible; I got pushed wide and my rear bumper got caught on a tire. I dropped to last place (P25) after the first lap. But then the new tire came to life, and I gained a ton of places with some great overtakes, finishing at P11.🚀

Heat 5
I had a great start again, gaining a few positions and driving a steady race. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to get me into the A-Final. I started at P19 and finished at P11.💪
After the heats, I was ranked P40 out of 76 drivers.

B-Final
I started at P4 and had a great launch🚀moving up to P3. I made a mistake, lost my grip, and a few drivers got past me. I had some good battles, but I was also given a 5-second penalty for a front cone. I started at P4 and finished P13.

I showed some great pace and progress throughout the weekend and can't wait for the next race at my favorite track in Mariembourg!
