Champions League night in Bodø!

Tonight, Bodø/Glimt take on Sporting Lisbon in the Round of 16 at Aspmyra Stadium, playing on an artificial turf surface from Saltex.

We wish Kjetil Knudsen & Co. the best of luck in the two-legged tie against the Portuguese side. We’re also excited to return to Aspmyra this summer to install a new football turf system for the club.

Proud of the continued trust!

For the fourth consecutive year, Saltex has been entrusted with installing the football turf system for the winter season at Strawberry Arena, the national arena for, among others, the Swedish men’s national team.

The work began on January 13 and was completed on January 16. The very next day, the arena hosted a match in Sweden’s top professional football league, when AIK faced Degerfors on Saturday, January 17.

At Saltex, we are proud to once again have had the pleasure of installing a new artificial turf field at Right to Dream Park, home of FC Nordsjælland. The new pitch is equipped with our popular Ultra MTRX, the most widely used artificial turf for elite-level fields in the Nordics.

Ultra MTRX provides optimal fiber coverage that results in a great look and feel and significantly reduces infill splash. Due to the MTRX structure, infill has the ability to move in order to provide elite players with the best possible playing conditions. Naturally, the pitch meets the FIFA Quality Pro standard, ensuring compliance with the strictest requirements for professional football pitches.

With the new surface, Right to Dream Park is further strengthened as a state-of-the-art arena for elite football.

Europa League Semifinal Played on Saltex Turf System

Our Saltex turf is part of top-level European football. Today’s Europa League semifinal at Aspmyra between Bodø Glimt and Tottenham Hotspur will of course be played on Saltex turf. The pitch has received a lot of attention ahead of the match. We are confident that conditions will be excellent for both teams. We wish them the best of luck and hope Bodø Glimt secures a ticket to the final tonight.

Compliance with standards is obviously important, but listening and understanding the players, coaches and facility managers is crucial.

Saltex recently conducted an extensive survey amongst the key users of our environmentally friendly Saltex BioFlex fields and the results were heart-warming. More than 140 respondents, incl. players, coaches, parents of junior players and facility managers representing a total of 71 different playing venues in the Nordic countries provided their valuable feedback.

The results shown below speak for themselves and we couldn’t be more grateful!!
