5 continents, one workshop. 🌍🏏

Today we’re packing another batch of orders heading out to Australia, the UK, the USA, Barbados, Japan and beyond. Every bat on the table has been handmade and carefully finished, and we’re working flat out every single day to get on top of orders while never compromising on quality.

Big profiles, lightweight pickup, and the performance we’re becoming known for. We know waiting isn’t easy, so thank you for your patience and support while we work our arse off to get these bats out the door and into your hands.

From our workshop in the Netherlands to cricketers all over the world – we’re proud to be building something special. 🌍🧡

A serious bit of timber heading out to one lucky customer! 💥 This bat finishes at just 2lb 9.5oz, yet packs a completely full profile, massive edges, and a huge spine. At Williams & Co, we know exactly what players are chasing—bigger, lighter, and more responsive bats with incredible ping—and we’re constantly refining our process to make that a reality. Every tree, every cleft, and every hour in the workshop is focused on building better bats and getting them into your hands faster than ever. 🌳🏏🔥

🏏 Power Grip Update! 🏏

Our latest Power Grip sample is here, and we’re getting closer than ever to launch. In this video, you’ll still see me applying it with a traditional grip cone, simply because our custom application sleeve hasn’t arrived yet. The final retail version will come with our own easy-fit plastic sleeve, meaning no grip cone will be needed.

We also put the Power Grip to the test against a standard grip, and the results were incredible. By fitting the Power Grip, the balance point shifted 2.5cm further up into the hands, changing the pickup and making the bat feel noticeably lighter without altering the blade itself.

A small change in balance can make a huge difference in how a bat performs, and we can’t wait for you all to try it. Shipping will be commencing soon – we’re almost there! 🔥👊

A fresh delivery of willow trees has just arrived! 🌳 Today I’m taking a closer look at some of the standout trees, discussing what makes them special and why selecting the right genetics is so important for the future of cricket bats. From tree to bat, it all starts right here.

🔊 The sounds of the workshop right now.

Planes cutting, sanders running, willow being shaped by hand, and another batch of Dutch Willow bats coming to life. Every bat starts as a cleft and goes through countless hours of craftsmanship before it’s ready for the middle.

This is what a busy workshop sounds like. 🏏🌳

Putting the finishing touches on another stunning Makers Run bat. From final sanding and detailing to the last quality checks, every bat gets the time and attention it deserves before heading out the door. Crafted from some of the finest Dutch Willow available and built to perform at the highest level. Another custom order nearly ready to make its way to its new owner. 🏏🔥

From tree to bat. 🌳🏏

Join me as I walk through part of the process that most people never get to see. From the willow trees themselves, past stacks of clefts, and into our drying oven where the next 300–400 future bats are carefully drying and preparing for production.

These clefts will become the bats we’re making over the next month to six weeks. Every single one is part of a journey that starts long before a sticker goes on the blade.

At Williams & Co, we’re involved in every step of the process. From sourcing the willow and cutting the clefts, right through to pressing, shaping, finishing and shipping the final bat to its new owner.

This is what true bat making looks like. No shortcuts, just craftsmanship, patience and a passion for creating something special. 🇳🇱🔥

Another busy day in the workshop as we get another lovely Dutch Willow order packed up and ready for its journey to the UK 🇬🇧📦

It’s all hands on deck at the moment, with bats being shaped, finished, checked, packed and shipped every single day. Every order that leaves our workshop has had hours of care and craftsmanship put into it, and we can’t wait for this one to arrive with its new owner.

Thank you to everyone supporting Williams & Co and the Dutch Willow movement. We’re working hard to get as many orders out the door as possible while maintaining the quality and attention to detail that every bat deserves. 🏏🧡

Before any bat leaves our workshop, it gets one final check from me personally.

Every profile, every edge, every handle and every finish is inspected to make sure it meets the standards we’ve built Williams & Co on. Only once I’m completely happy does it get the all clear for Roland to apply the stickers and prepare it for dispatch.

It’s a process that takes time, but when you’re making bats for cricketers all over the world, the details matter. From Dutch willow tree to finished bat, we’re committed to getting every single one right.

Another quality Dutch Willow bat ready to head to its new owner. 🏏🧡
