What if a home could feel different, not because of renovation, but because of the interaction with the Earth beneath it? 🌱

Recently, I received this testimony from a client of a Geomancy project for a home in Amsterdam that also welcomes guests as a B&B.

Geomancy, also known as land and space clearing, is a Taoist practice that focuses on the harmonious arrangement of the energies between the Earth, a building, and the people who live or work there.

Strange, really.

The Zendo where I teach, the scroll that has been hanging there for so long. And yesterday, next to it, was the image from my projector: the opening slide of my leadership programme that I developed over the past six months.

I put my whole heart and soul into it. I have woven all my work experience together with my Zen, Qi Gong, Tao breathing, Feng Shui, Lo Shu experiences and the wisdom I have been fortunate enough to receive. It’s a collection of more than 30 years’ worth of material.

And yesterday was the first day of the inaugural run of that programme. Intensive, profound, confronting, inspiring, comprehensive, fun, educational… Just a few words of feedback I received.

WOW!

I am already looking forward to the second day.

Waste: belongs in the bin

Learn to 'put your head in the wastebin' and discover the power of silence during the weekend sesshin of May 30 - 31. This zenweekend focuses on the seven factors of awakening: mindfulness, investigation, energy, joy, tranquillity, concentration, and equanimity.

By staying aware of the breath, the Buddha teaches that these seven factors are realised. Practising them diligently leads to wisdom and liberation, as described in the Anapanasati Sutta.

Zen & Qi Gong week at The Transmission School in Italy

Don't forget to enjoy!

In my new blog, I share something that has stayed with me through many years of learning from my masters: joy is at the heart of Qi Gong. Not perfection, not performance, but the ability to relax, feel, and truly experience the moment.

In practice we first work with structure and effort… so that real relaxation can arise later. And sometimes, in that subtle balance between effort and letting go, something beautiful appears: pure joy.

In my gatherings, I invite you to practice with a beginner’s mind. Staying curious and open to what happens when your body, breath, and Qi begin to flow.

Geomancy is an ancient philosophical system that focuses on the harmonious arrangement of energies. This art has been passed on from Master to student for thousands of years.

A Geomancy Consultant possesses the ability to detect over 50 - 100 distinct energy frequencies that can impact humans. A map of these phenomena is made based on the floor plan of the building and the Earth below. Using this map, the Geomancy Consultant conducts clearing, vitalising, and activation activities on the site.
