It's the End of Year again...

Time to get rewards and celebrate.

EXPECTATIONS DEMANDS PREPAREDNESS

Today, the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed the country.

After a shambolic display, Nigeria had the chance of going through via penalties.

The Coach had taken off his key forward players with a few minutes to go into penalties.

That was an honest error.

Forward players are often in front of goal and know, better, how to hit the ball past a goalie.

Allowing Calvin Bassey take the very first penalty was a major error.

Defenders often load out balls and are not sure bets when it comes to penalties.

I even doubt if the team had considered penalties during their training sessions because half of the penalties were mere shots towards goal and not technically placed.

Our boys and girls at Richmond train for penalties every training day.

If the Coach had called us at Richmond, we would have sent him 5 players to do the job neatly.

Nigeria would have won without breaking sweat (on penalties).

Well, lessons should be learnt after every football match.

We shall go through the game with the lads on our next training session and educate them on why Nigeria did not perform as largely expected.
