OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

SOKOTO UNITED FC ANNOUNCES RESUMPTION OF TRAINING AHEAD OF 2026/2027 NNL SEASON

The Management of Sokoto United FC wishes to inform all players and members of the technical crew that training activities will resume on Monday, 24th August 2026, as the club begins preparations for the 2026/2027 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

All coaches and existing players are expected to resume on or before the announced date to commence full preparations for the new season. Punctual resumption is mandatory, and any player or technical staff member who fails to comply with the resumption directive may be subject to appropriate disciplinary measures.

The club will also commence the process of inviting new players for trials as part of efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign. Only players officially invited by the club are expected to report for the trials.

Players who arrive at the club without an official invitation will be responsible for their own feeding,transportation, and other personal expenses. The club will not be responsible for the costs incurred by unsolicited trialists, only accommodation will be provided by the club.

The Management wishes all players and coaches a safe return and urges everyone to resume fully prepared, focused, and committed as the club begins its preparations for a successful 2026/2027 NNL season.
