*From Setback to Comeback: Senegal Opens Poomsae Championships Canceled, but New Goals Ahead*
Good morning taekwondo family and friends.
I have some disappointing news to share. Unfortunately, the highly anticipated Senegal Opens Poomsae Championships that we were all looking forward to has been canceled. It's truly disheartening to receive this information.
For me, Senegal Opens held significant importance as it was a crucial stepping stone in my preparation for the world poomsae championship. This year, my goal was to participate in all poomsae championships within Africa to enhance my international experience.
However, despite this setback, I am not giving up. There are still a couple of other exciting poomsae championships that I will be aiming for. The Alexandra Opens in Egypt is scheduled for July, followed by the African Taekwondo Championship (if it includes poomsae) and the Niger Opens in September. The race is far from over, and my determination to bring pride to our nation remains unwavering.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported me in my fundraising efforts. With your help, we have managed to raise a total of 388k, out of which 70k has been spent to lock in the flight prices. I will keep you all updated on my plans and progress towards the next international poomsae championships.
Thank you all for your unwavering support and belief in me. Though the Senegal Opens may be canceled, I am ready to face new challenges and seize fresh opportunities. Together, let's continue this incredible journey and strive for success!
Stay tuned for more updates.
_Your Champion._
