😔😔📸 “Worst signing of the window”? Nah. This is embarrassing. ✍🏾 I’m actually fuming. Once again, it’s Manchester United in the firing line. And this time, it’s Benjamin Sesko, a 22 year-old, barely settled, already being labelled the “worst deal of the window” by The Athletic and 20 anonymous agents? How is this not shameful? This is a kid who’s still adapting to the league, to a new system, to life at one of the biggest clubs in the world. He’s shown glimpses of brilliance already. But of course, because it’s United, the media can’t wait to jump in and push a negative headline. If I’m being real, if he was at City or Arsenal, the narrative would be “raw talent,” “one for the future,” “needs time.” But because it’s United, it’s “flop” after 5 games? We’ve seen this pattern before. Same thing they tried with Højlund. Even with Rashford when he broke through. And what makes it worse, The Athletic, a platform that’s supposed to be about proper football journalism, is pushing this kind of shallow, reactionary content? This is beyond disappointing. It’s embarrassing!!! Sesko didn’t come here to be a headline. He came to grow, to fight, to prove himself. And with time, service, and support, he will. Keep doubting. We’ve seen this story before.
