Crystal Palace have reached a verbal agreement with Chelsea for Disasi, with the defender undergoing his medical this morning.

The deal includes:

💰 Loan fee paid to Chelsea
💷 Palace will cover his salary
🔄 No buy option

This could be a good move for everyone.

Disasi gets regular Premier League football, while Chelsea reduce their squad without permanently losing control of his future.

🗣️ “I know people talk about the number 9 curse at Chelsea... But for me, that doesn't scare me — it motivates me.

“I asked for the number 9 because I want the responsibility. I want to be the main striker, the one who scores the important goals and leads the line.

Alonso explained that Enzo can start from a deeper build-up position as a playmaker, using his passing range to control and progress the game.

🗣️ “When he's with the ball he has the qualities to link to the short passes but the long ones as well. He's able to see short and the further players and from there he can progress.”

That could be very interesting.

Enzo + Caicedo + Lavia in midfield? 👀🥶

If Alonso gets Enzo playing deeper while giving him freedom to dictate the tempo, Chelsea could unlock another level of his game.

Maybe this is the Enzo we've been waiting to see. 💙🔥

The club intends to reward several key players with new deals, with Levi Colwill and Estêvão Willian among those expected to be considered.

And honestly, it makes sense.

🛡️ Colwill — already a key part of Chelsea's defence and highly rated by Xabi Alonso.

🇧🇷 Estêvão — one of the most exciting young talents in the squad.

Still, that's not a bad success rate.

Chelsea have managed to secure several important players for the long term, but Enzo remains the exception.

You can't win everyone over. 😅

For now, though, he's still a Chelsea player, Xabi Alonso wants him, and he's preparing for Monday's Premier League opener.

I still hope Enzo eventually signs. 💙🇦🇷

Because keeping him long-term could be another huge win for Chelsea. 🔥
