Arriving at MICCA, my sole largest company, I alighted from my car before pressing the lock key on my car pad after perfectly parking it inside my private garage immediately attracting the curiosity of my security personnels'.

I took long strides towards my company's staff lift, with each new step getting me closer to my anticipated message from Mr Kumar.

Hopefully Mr Kumar, the CEO of TURiNA, the old fog must have had a change of perception, for him to have reached out to me after all these long months of waiting to hear from this betraying d*g.

Despite the cold aura font I have been putting out, deep inside, emotions were running wild. It would be nicely profitable to cliché this Alliance between MICCA and TURiNA.

With my intended soccer retirement barely two years left, I would have to bring all hands on deck especially if It got to fighting dirty.

I know it may seem unfair to the old man. I wished fairness was also a word that could be attributed to our world of business, but unfortunately, this is how I saw it grow up, long before my time.

The cutthroat world of it is so high that even those who aim to run in fairness often get misquoted just like I bitterly found out from the one time Mr Kumar betrayed me.

It may appear ruthless of me to intend to dismantle TURiNA from within its context, the very moment I lay my hands on this Alliance, however in the long run, I am sure Mr Kumar would be pleased with the outcome of my counter offer for his payoff, A payment I wouldn't be forced into making if he had been half of the friend and mentor I had foolishly thought him to be.

For now, I had my facial expressions schooled as usual to be void of any emotional display till I could get to celebrate privately, should the contents of his proposal be to my liking.

Getting to my company's staff's elevator, I reached out and pressed the lift call button to the building's ground floor.
