Dear friends across the globe,
I am writing to you this evening from Nigeria to formally thank you for taking the time to read my views on critical religious issues, especially when it concerns what is acceptable before God.
I never knew the impact of my writing until I got a call from a very distant country and from someone I may never meet until my sojourn here on earth, thanking me for building his faith in Christ.
It has been exciting all the way.
We live in a world where honest biblical truth has been sugarcoated with lies from the very people whose followers will never suspect that they can dish out error.
I am pledging today to write only what is Biblical truth and truth that can give salvation.
You are requested to read and take note of the points summarized and compare them with what you have been taught and believed over the years.
On the mandate of reconciling people to Christ, I am not ready to back down.
I don’t want to return empty-handed.
I am patiently waiting for the sound of "welcome, thou good and faithful servant.”
I just hope it is what you earnestly desire for yourself.
Your relationship is worthy of my commendation.
God bless you.

WHAT IS YOUR THIEF?
The phrase "the thief" in John 10:10 is often interpreted as a reference to Satan or those who came before Jesus, such as Moses and Elijah. However, a closer examination of Gamaliel's words in Acts 5:34-40 reveals a broader scope of individuals and entities that can be considered "thieves" in the context who came before Jesus and acted like it was God that sent them and led many astray.

In today's world, we can identify several modern "thieves" that can steal, kill, and destroy our spiritual well-being:

Android Phone: While a valuable tool, excessive phone use can lead to spiritual distraction, addiction, and isolation.

Internet: The vast amount of information and connectivity can also lead to spiritual pitfalls like cyberbullying, online harassment, and access to harmful content.

Satellite TV: Endless entertainment options can distract us from spiritual growth, leading to a life of passive consumption rather than active engagement with our faith.

Gambling: This addiction can lead to financial ruin, family breakdown, and spiritual devastation. Going neaerbetting shop is the beginning of embracing a thief int your life.

Other modern "thieves" may include:
Social Media: Excessive use can lead to comparison, envy, and a distorted view of reality, eroding our spiritual foundation. Those who spend more than 2 hours on social media are already aware of it's impact upon their lives.

Substance Abuse: Addiction to drugs, alcohol, or other substances can destroy our spiritual life and relationships. In Nigeria today, so many things have been reduced into small satchets for easy consumption. But it kills slowly.

Unhealthy Relationships: Toxic relationships can drain our spiritual energy and lead us away from our faith. Amos 3:3.

Materialism: Excessive focus on wealth and possessions can distract us from our spiritual priorities and values. Not all we see online is real. so many fake life and if you are not careful, you think you are left behind.

In this expanded understanding, the "thief" in John 10:10 represents any entity or behavior that seeks to destroy our spiritual life and relationship with God. As we navigate the challenges of modern life, let us remain vigilant and mindful of these potential "thieves" that can steal our spiritual vitality.
May we remain alert and focused on our spiritual journey, avoiding the distractions and pitfalls that can lead us astray.

Dear young Christians,

I am delighted to share with you my goodwill message for the new year according to the Gregorian calendar. I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors in 2024. Here are seven items that I believe can bring about positive changes in your lives:

1. Learn three new skills: This year, I encourage you to learn three new skills—one related to IT, one related to AI, and one related to personal health hygiene. Platforms like Alison and Coursera offer free courses where you can acquire these skills.

2. Try your hand in a small investment: Consider investing in a small business either on your own or in partnership with others. There are businesses you can start with as low as 50k. This can be a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and potentially grow your wealth.

3. Work on your integrity: Building trust and maintaining integrity is crucial. When people trust you, many opportunities can come your way. Focus on being honest, reliable, and true to your word.

4. Learn to do charity: Helping others through acts of charity can lead to personal growth. Even if you feel you are financially limited, remember that there are always people less fortunate than you. Start by giving away your old clothes, shoes, and bags to those in need. By doing so, you can grow your "God bless you" bank account.

5. Take time to speak to God and partner with Him: Set aside time to pray and share your worries with God. Seek His guidance and blessings in your life. Remember, you are called to partner with God in your journey.

6. Share your faith with others: As Christians, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation. Take the opportunity to share your faith with others and spread the message of love, forgiveness, and salvation.

7. Write down your goals and change your strategy: Take the time to write down your goals for the year and develop a strategy to achieve them. Sometimes, a new strategy requires a new mindset. Be open to change and adapt your approach as needed.

I believe that by considering these seven items and making necessary amendments, you can make positive changes in your life. It's important to let go of unproductive friendships and the habit of consuming what others have produced online. Instead, focus on creating valuable content and contributing to the world around you. Remember, all you need is a phone in your hand with data to access the resources available to you.

May God bless you abundantly in 2024
Happy New Year
