BASORUN LUKMAN ADENEKAN (POPULARLY KNOWN AS ELUKU, NUMBER 1) HOST FOOTBALL COMPETITION, SUPPORT WITH KITS, AWARDS AND TROPHY TOWARDS HIS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.
With the support of football kits, awards and trophy for the Finalists, ALHAJI LUKMAN ADENEKAN (THE BASORUN OF OGERE REMO) who is widely known as ELUKU or NUMBER 1, has reaffirmed his dedication to youth development and unity in Ogere community. This generous gesture is in support of the Bashorun Lukman Adenekan, a tournament designed to foster harmony, and sportsmanship.
Speaking during the draw press conference on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, Basorun Adenekan underlined the value of sports as a unifying factor and a forum for developing leadership skills. As the young people compete, he exhorted them to value self-control, cooperation, and fair play.
One of the Basorun's Cup organizers, skillfully led by Mr. Abbey Lasisi, conveyed Chief Adenekan sincere gratitude for the support, stating that it fortifies their determination to use sports to foster excellence and unity in our community.
On Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, the Basorun's Cup will get underway, and on June 10, 2025, the final will take place at Wesley Playing Ground in Ogere Remo to marks his ceremonial birthday.
