🏐 Valentine Friendly match Between Lafia Warriors Volleyball Club and🏐
History was made on the 13th and 14th of February and yes, the 14th being Valentine’s Day ❤️ but instead of roses and chocolates, it was spikes and blocks flying in Makurdi.
Our very own Lafia Warriors traveled to Makurdi to face the strong and determined Makurdi Volleyball Club on their home court.
🔥 DAY ONE – 13TH FEBRUARY
The battle began...
Both the male and female team of Lafia Warriors fought bravely in a tightly contested encounter but narrowly lost 2 sets to 1.
The intensity, the rallies, the determination it was volleyball at its finest...
🔥 DAY TWO – 14TH FEBRUARY (VALENTINE SPECIAL 💘🏐)
While the world was celebrating love, our Warriors were showing love for the game.
The female team returned stronger, giving everything on the court, but the hosts edged them again with a 3 sets to 1 victory.
And then… the Warriors responded! 💥
Our male team stepped in with confidence, teamwork, and unstoppable energy and they delivered a powerful statement win, defeating Makurdi 3 sets to 1.
What a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with passion, unity, and victory! ❤️🔥
Win or lose, the spirit of Lafia Warriors shines bright.
