“- Two more weeks will go with the head coach selection. We have four candidates - three foreigners and one Finnish.

- We have had the first rounds of interviews with everyone. There is now a third round going on, where we will talk about the whole coaching team and what the coach wants to do in the next two years. When there are two names left, I represent them to the board, Lönnström told to Iltalehti.

He considers this head coach recruitment to be the most important for the club.”

HIFK perustaa uuden, tavoitteellisen B-junioreiden (U17) kilpajoukkueen tänä syksynä. Ryhmälle tulee UEFA B-lisenssin omaava valmentaja, joka julkaistaan myöhemmin. Uusi U17-joukkue tulee olemaan yhteistyössä seuran miesten Veikkausliigajoukkueen kanssa.

Seura järjestää try-outit rekrytoidakseen pelaajia uuteen joukkueeseen seuraavina ajankohtina:

Töölön pallokenttä 6 osa 1, 1/2 kenttää, su 25.10.2020 klo 16:00 – 18:00.
Töölön pallokenttä 6, 1/1 kenttä, to 29.10.2020 klo 20:00 – 21:00.
Töölön pallokenttä 6 osa 1, 1/2 kenttää, su 01.11.2020 klo 16:00 – 18:00.
