MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION
FROM DR TERKIMBI VICTOR IKPATO
COORDINATOR OF SPORTS, REV. FR. MOSES ORSHIO ADASU UNIVERSITY, MAKURDI
My heart is filled with profound gratitude even as we mourn the peaceful transition of our beloved mother, who was laid to rest on Friday, 5, 2026. On behalf of myself and the entire Ikpato Nege family, I wish to extend our deepest and most sincere appreciation to everyone who stood by us during this period of immense grief.
We were overwhelmed and deeply comforted by the massive outpouring of love, presence, and solidarity from all walks of life. Your presence turned our moment of sorrow into a celebration of a life well-lived.
My special thanks go to:
The Vice Chancellor and the University Management team, my Head of Department, Distinguished Professors, and Academic/Non-Academic Colleagues of the entire Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi, your intellectual, moral, and physical presence was a great pillar of strength.
To the Sports Unit and the University Athletic Community, thank you for rallying around me and showing what true teamwork and sportsmanship mean outside the field.
My Fellow Fitness Club Members, thank you for the incredible show of solidarity and the energy you brought to support one of your own.
My ever wonderful and supportive students, I sincerely appreciate the painstaking efforts you made to ensure that you give me a very befeating support. I do not take it for granted.
To my friends, acquaintances, neighbours, and well-wishers who travelled from far and near to honour our mother’s memory and offer comfort.
Whether you attended the burial, sent financial support, offered prayers, made phone calls, or held us in your thoughts, please know that your kindness has left an indelible mark on our hearts.
We pray that the Almighty God, in His infinite goodness, blesses you abundantly, grants you safe, travels back to your respective destinations, and meets you all at the points of your greatest needs.
Thank you all so very much, and may God bless you.
Signed;
Dr Terkimbi Victor Ikpato
For the Family.
