Mokoya High Schools Alumni Association This is the Official Page Of Mokoya High School Alumni Association. It will provide the platform for all old students of our great alma mata to network.

This is the Official page of the Alumni Association of Mokoya High School, located in Tolu School Complex, Olodi-Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria. The secondary school was founded in 1983 with few teachers and students to take off. To date it has produced great men and women who are successful in various endeavors across the globe. The page will serve as another meeting hub for all old folk

s of MHS. We will use this platform to share and synergize with other old students, support ourselves to grow better, support our Alma-Mata in our little way to grow, strengthen our relationship with other interest groups (either government or public) to the benefit of our great institution. This we hope to achieve by "working hard and prayers" which is in-line with the motto of our great institution. These are the qualities which we (the Old Students), within reason, pride ourselves, and the same We recommend to everyone. We invite you to join us in this interesting journey. Thank You and God Bless You". Mokoya High School - Mission Statement:

"To pursue academic excellence through moral uprightness, service to humanity as well as the dignity of mankind in an atmosphere pervaded by the fear of God". Mokoya High School History:

The school was established in September,1983 by the administration of Alh. Lateef Jakande. The school then comprised of forms 1 to 5. The initial students population was 271(142 boys,129 girls). The school was split into Senior and Junior school on October 29,2002. The School occupies a 2-storey block of classrooms, Laboratories and offices. The school has 16 teaching and 2 non teaching members of staff and a population of 462 students. Famous past pupils/Students:

Omowunmi Ayanwunmi - 2004 Gold Medalist in Spelling Bee Zonal Competition;
Oghale Oviego - 3rd Position in 2006 Zonal schools Debate for children's day;
Innocent Michael (Asiwaju of AJ Music): A popular veteran dancehall Singer and music writer. Wasiu Lawal (Wesley): A member of Black Reverendz (Ayangba) Musical Duo with Shuaibu Adams (Shobb2). Club & Societies

JETS Club, Pressure Club, Red Cross, Literary and Debating Society, Cultural Society, Home Keepers Club

FOR OURSELVES
- Help the indigent among us
- lift people up
- feed us
- create and endowment fund for sustainability
- Get together
- A real retreat

Give them space to play, ask questions, and dream.

Never shout down or gag your children when they are trying to express themselves.
Whatever it is, listen through the assumed blabbing,for they are always laced with lessons and information.

A mother will always find the voice of her child even amid chaos, so I will always allow them to express themselves and share their side of the story(ies).
