Compliments of the season to us all , we like to bring back our LONG DISTANT (MARATHON SWIMMING ) CHAMPIONSHIP tagged
LAGOS OPEN WATER SWIMMINNG CHAMPION .
Back to memory lane , the 1st edition was launched at The Lagos Oriental Hotel V/l in Nov. 2016 and the Event about 1km swim race took place at The Water Regata Arena, Queens drive behind The French Embassy 2016, with about 59 participants (male 38, female 21 )
We have done 2 more editions covering 2km and 4 km before the Covid pandemic.
OUR FOCUS .
Our swimming Champions ends their career at the ages of 20yrs- 24yrs, hence. We want to migrate to an endurance, competitive and Olympic event that we can participate all through our lifes.
The least km covered at the yearly and invitational local and international championship is between 5km and 10km . But at the Olympics the race is 10km and that is the focus of this event , pls peruse our proposal and comment on this year edition .

CONFIRMED - Championship now comes up 3-5th June 2016, 1km for Lagos Local Athletes , Under16 competition between 9am and 10am.
Main International Championship National and International Championship for 11AM , Both competitions on Sunday, June 5th 2016, Be Ready.
