02/09/2026
It’s September 2nd, which means we have four months left in 2026.
And I have a question for you:
If you look at the plans you had for this year, would you say you have achieved at least half of them?
I’m not talking about winning at everything, ticking every box, or completing every goal on your list. I’m asking whether you have taken enough ownership and been intentional enough about the things within your control; becoming whole, pursuing your goals, growing, and becoming the person you desire to be.
Sometimes, when we think about what is holding us back, we immediately look outside ourselves.
“If I could make more money…”
“If I could get more followers…”
“If I could get that new thing…”
“If everything could just be perfect…”
But what if that isn’t what’s holding you back?
What if it’s your thought patterns, limiting beliefs, fear of leaving your comfort zone, or the tendency to become discouraged when you don’t see results quickly enough?
What if you’re so focused on the big picture that you overlook the small steps required to close the gap? Or you’re trying to do everything yourself when you actually need a mentor, coach, or team to support you?
And perhaps, sometimes, what you need isn’t to do more at all.
Maybe you need to pause, to become still, to rest or to remove some of the distractions around you so you can gain clarity, become consistent, and learn to enjoy the process instead of constantly measuring your life by the outcome.
You see, sometimes we need to ask ourselves:
Am I really being held back by something out there, or am I struggling to align myself with what is required to move forward?
Welcome to September. 🤍
My prayer is that these questions help you think differently about the next four months and become more intentional about how you spend them.
So, what is the number one thing you believe is holding you back from pursuing your goals or becoming the version of yourself you know you’re capable of becoming?
Tell me in the comments.
Let’s talk about it together.
