This might be an unpopular opinion, but I believe Arsenal should seriously consider cashing in on Leandro Trossard if the right offer arrives.
There is no doubt that Trossard has been a valuable player for Arsenal. His versatility, experience, and ability to deliver in big moments have helped the team on numerous occasions. Players like him are often underappreciated because they quietly get the job done without demanding the spotlight.
That said, football is about timing. Trossard is entering the latter stages of his career, and Arsenal are building a squad capable of competing at the highest level for years to come. Sometimes clubs have to make difficult decisions before a player's value begins to decline.
Too often as fans, we allow emotions to influence our judgment. We become attached to players and forget that every successful team constantly evolves. Keeping a player for sentimental reasons rarely benefits the club in the long run.
If Arsenal can secure a good transfer fee, free up squad space, and reinvest in a younger player with a higher ceiling, it could be a smart piece of business. That doesn't diminish what Trossard has contributed to the club. In fact, it shows respect for what he has done by allowing him to leave while he is still valued.
Every player's journey eventually comes to an end. For me, this feels like the right moment for Trossard and Arsenal to part ways on good terms. You all will definitely miss him, but football never stands still.
What's your take, Gunners? Should Arsenal keep Trossard for his experience, or is it time to move on?
