NIGERIA U20 FLYING EAGLES SQUAD INCLUDES TWO KATSINA STATE PLAYERS

_22nd April, 2025_

Katsina State made a significant mark among Northern states in Nigeria by hosting its first-ever U20 National Team camp.

The initiative was driven by the vision of Governor of Katsina Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, who aims to promote sports development and guide youth away from negative influences.

This achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Dikko Sports Movement, led by Alhaji Abubakar Sani, and the Katsina State Ministry of Sports.

As a result of this partnership, two talented individuals from Katsina State have earned spots in the U20 National Team Yushau Armayau and Chigozie Michael, set to represent Nigeria in the U20 Nations Cup in Cairo, Egypt.

The team departed Abuja for Egypt on April 20, 2025, with the tournament kick-off scheduled for April 27, 2025.
