After 7 years of practicing yoga, I finally found another meaning of "own your practice".
You see I have been following people's routine to practice. Rather than get the kind of results I want, I just end up doing something and calling I a practice.
For instance my body does not like any form of rigorous exercise, each time I do anything rigorous continuously I feel the after effect.
Lately, I have been able to practice quietly with no external instruction. The difference is I'm now more quiet on the inside and my mind is allowed to figure out what is best for the body.
It's been a wonderful experience.
I found new ways to enter old poses. I also found satisfaction and a peaceful mind.
