*Statement of Congratulations to His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang on His Third Anniversary in Office From Mighty Jets International FC*

May 29th, 2026

Your Excellency sir,

On behalf of the management, players, and teeming supporters of Mighty Jets International FC, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to you on your Third Anniversary in office - May 29, 2026.

Three years ago you pledged to lead Plateau State with sincerity, courage, empathy and compassion, and today we can confidently say that Plateau is rising again.

We share in your testament that “hope is being restored, confidence in governance is gradually returning, and the dream of a peaceful, united, secure and prosperous Plateau is becoming a visible reality.”

Mighty Jets Int’l FC celebrates with you and the good people of Plateau State, especially as your administration’s strides create the stable, secure environment our sports community needs to thrive.

Your commitment to peace and security through the revitalisation of Operation Rainbow by recruiting 2,000+ community volunteers, the Emergency Communications Centre, and upgraded surveillance gives our clubs and fans the assurance to train, compete, and fill the stands again –just like other aspects of society are guaranteed safety to do their business.

We are equally inspired by your bold investments across sectors. Just as you reduced tuition fees by 50% and expanded scholarships under the Mutfwang Legacy Scholarship Scheme. A peaceful Plateau with revived infrastructure - over 500km of roads asphalted, Jos–Bukuru transport subsidised, energy and water projects progressing –is fertile ground for sporting excellence and for clubs like Mighty Jets to return to our glory days.

Your Excellency, thank you for keeping faith with the mandate and for building foundations that make the Plateau of our dreams possible. Mighty Jets Int’l FC stands firmly with you on this noble journey.

Mighty Jets Int'l FC Commiserates with Wikki Tourists Over Passing of Player, Kabiru Mohammad

May 24th, 2026

It is with a profound sense of shock, grief and deep sorrow that we at Mighty Jets International FC received the devastating news of the tragic passing of Wikki Tourists' dependable defender, Kabiru Mohammed, following a fatal motor accident along the Zaria–Gusau road.

Moments like this remind us that we are, above all, one big footballing family, bound by a shared passion and mutual respect, despite fierce competitiveness on the pitch. When one of us bleeds, the entire Nigerian football community bleeds with them.

The entire Mighty Jets family acknowledge that Kabiru was a titan on the pitch for Wikki Tourists this season, and to clock over 2,200 minutes across 26 appearances is a testament to his incredible work ethic, resilience, loyalty and deep love for the badge. He did not just play for your club; he gave his absolute all for it, and his untimely departure is not just a monumental loss to Wikki Tourists, but a dark period for the sport across the nation.

To our brothers in Bauchi, please know that you are not walking through this dark valley alone during this incredibly difficult time. The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Mighty Jets International FC are firmly with you, the grieving Mohammed family and the entire football community in Bauchi State.
We pray that the Almighty grants his soul eternal rest, and gives his immediate family and the entire Wikki Tourists fold the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

MIGHTY JETS INT'L FC NOT FOR SALE

Following reports circulating round that Nigerian first League champions, Mighty Jets Int'l FC is up for sale, founders of the club have refuted the claim.

According to the original founders of team, they are not aware of any arrangement to sale the club to any individual or organization.

They insist that the club is fully a legal entity recognized by Nigeria laws and is been sponsored by the Plateau State government based on the agreement reached between both parties.

We want to appreciate the Plateau government piloted by his Excellency, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for all the support given to this club, we make bold to say no government has supported this team financially as the current government and we are not oblivious of that.

The 1972 Nigerian champions are strategizing to bounce back to reckoning soonest.

Happy Easter to all those celebrating.
