The amateur team was founded to serve as a platform where gifted youth can showcase their skills and grow as humans on the football pitch. Drawing inspiration from the Gongola State era (1976-1991)

The Eland, a symbol of bravery and gentility found in Taraba State, reflects the club's fearless and calm approach to challenges while the hills in the emblem symbolize the highlands and rugged terrain of Adamawa State and represents the club's unwavering strength and determination to overcome any obstacle.
