Glad tidings to you all fellow compatriots!

The leadership of Ebele and Anyi Chuks Foundation is delighted to announce to the good people of Ebonyi State and the general public, the commencement of the disbursement of the Unconditional Cash Grant to over 100 lucky farmers in Ebonyi State in the Anyichuks Farmers Support Scheme (AFSS) Phase I. Recall that Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, while addressing a mammoth crowd of Farmers from the 13 Local Government Areas of Ebonyi State who payed homage to him in his country home at Harbour of Grace, Isuachara Anioma-Isu, Onicha LGA, Ebonyi State on 17th July, 2021, proposed to create farmers-based Empowerment Scheme to provide financial support to farmers annually, starting from this year 2021 farming season. The idea is to make Unconditional Cash Transfers directly to the farmers' individual bank account to assist them to procure farm inputs such as fertiliser, herbicides, pesticides for their crops or feed for their livestock to boost their farm yields. The aim of this Scheme is to promote high crop production, ensure food security and encourage agribusiness in both urban and rural areas of Ebonyi State.

More blessings and many thanks to the cerebral humanist and the amazing visionary leader of this noble Foundation, High Chief Dr. Ifeanyi C Odii (Omezuoro Oha Nd'Igbo) and his amiable wife Dame (Mrs) Ebele Deborah Chukwuma Odii for their consistent good-spirited efforts in alleviating the suffering of the masses through their numerous populist programmes.

With boundless gratitude for the implicit confidence placed in me by Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu the Executive Governor of Lagos State, I wish to express my profound appreciation on my inauguration into the 12th Governing Council of the Lagos State University, after having served in the 11th Governing Council before it was dissolved.

I’m super thankful to be counted worthy of this privilege, to yet again serve the State in this capacity.

I do not take lightly your implicit trust in me, and promise my unwavering resolve to honour this trust by committing to the course and vision to see that the Lagos State University makes it to the Top-5 list of universities in Nigeria.

Your consistent non-tribalistic and inclusive governance approach is admirable and indisputably a key quality of great and iconic leadership. I earnestly hope this approach is adopted by many more leaders in the country as this would foster a more united and integrated nation.
