Technical Committee Inspects Venues Ahead of Preliminary Matches of the Gombe Emir's Cup

A delegation from the Technical Committee of the Gombe Emir’s Cup, led by the Chairman, Abdulkadir Adamu Kawu, has embarked on stadium inspection visits to selected venues expected to host the preliminary round of the competition.
As part of the inspection exercise conducted today, the delegation visited Kaltungo and Yamaltu Deba Local Government Areas to formally seek approval for the use of their stadium facilities for the preliminary matches.
During the visit to Kaltungo, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Head of Department, Education and Social Development, before proceeding to inspect facilities at the Olusegun Obasanjo Stadium. The inspection focused on assessing the readiness of the stadium to host matches for the competition.
The delegation later moved to Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area for a similar engagement. The Head of Department, Education and Social Development, assured the delegation of his support and promised proper consideration of the request. The Manager of Deba Stadium also guided the delegation round the facility during the inspection.
The committee reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that all selected venues meet the required standards before the commencement of the preliminary matches.
Members of the delegation included the Chairman and Secretary of the Technical Committee, Abdulkadir Adamu Kawu and Haruna Isah Kalshingi, alongside other committee members, including Malam Hashimu Ibrahim and Muhsin Jibo Maigoro.
